I left the Corvallis area at the end of this school year in a fast, and almost chaotic manner. Within two days of returning home I was put to work, and every day off I have I’ve been on the road. The two hour + drive I make every weekend wears on a person. With little time to unpack, unwind, and job search I’m feeling as the summer of productivity (that I was hoping for) is slipping through my fingers at a rapidly fast pace. I promised myself to apply or inquire about one job per week - sadly this has only happened once. Currently my job as a waitress is leaving me tired and home at midnight almost every night. As of this moment I’m making a step in the right direction to get myself back in working condition. No more excuses! My To-Do list:
- apply to one internship, or job every two weeks
- finish cleaning out my storage unit
- finish moving my things from my old home in Albany
- start volunteering again for an hour each week
- write one blog post each week
- finish weeding out my ugly/don’t wear anymore clothes
- workout every day so I can squeeze into my Citizen jeans again
- FINALLY finish my online portfolio
I can accomplish that.
